A Pitcher a Day Keeps Aging Skin Away
The importance of water to your daily diet is no secret. For countless reasons, keeping your body hydrated is vital. But at the Detox Lounge we’re always looking for ways to make a good thing better, and with water, we found it.
By making cucumber water a part of your daily intake, you’ll replenish your body’s water supply while helping rid your body of the toxins that have accumulated. It’s a simple start to achieving a total body detoxification, and a great way to reach numerous other health and wellness goals.
Not only is cucumber water refreshing and hydrating, but it’s loaded with nutrients. Cucumbers are high in Vitamin C and caffeic acid, two antioxidants that can help protect your skin from sun damage throughout the summer. Vitamin C also boosts collagen and elastin to help keep your skin looking vibrant and youthful. Plus, cucumbers have natural anti-inflammatory properties that prevent water retention, and silica to promote healthy connective tissues.
With all that going for it, it’s hardly surprising that we at the Detox Lounge urge our clients to include cucumber water to their diet. In fact, it’s an integral part of our Signature Juice Cleanse program that is designed to provide our clients with the daily minerals and enzymes their bodies need.
Achieving a total body detoxification is never an overnight mission. At the Detox Lounge, we provide state-of-the-art tools such as Infrared Saunas and Aqua Detox Foot Baths to help clients reach their detox goals. More than anything, though, we help educate clients on how to get toxin-free and stay toxin-free, and that means developing diet habits that give your body more of what it needs and less of what it doesn’t. Drinking cucumber water is one of the simplest, most affordable of all.
